The new year often arrives with pressure — to move on, to feel hopeful, to start fresh.
But grief doesn’t follow a calendar.
New Year, Same Grief is a guided workshop for anyone entering the year carrying the loss of a beloved pet and wondering how to move forward without leaving them behind.
This is not about fixing grief or forcing positivity. It’s about remembering who you were in their presence, and letting that guide how you live now.
In this workshop, we will:
Reflect on how your pet saw you and what they brought out in you
Identify qualities your grief may have dimmed — and those ready to return
Explore how joy and grief can coexist
Create a gentle, meaningful intention for the year ahead
Learn how to “move with” your grief instead of fighting against it
Leave with a personal visualization you can return to throughout the year
Reflections & Intentions for the Year Ahead
What to Expect
